Lot 40 in the Nutrien Winter Woolies Sale is the eight times winning Balanced Image mare Calder Image tr,2:06.1 $62,270.
Calder Image is already the dam of four winners from six live foals 3yo or older including the Group One WA Trotters Cup winner Itsgettingcalder tr,1:57.3 $140,564 and the 2yo Maori Legend winner Smashthemcalder tr,3,2:02.4 $55,150.
Her fourth winner is the Im Stately mare Gee Cee Calder which had won three races when the catalogue went online earlier this month.
Yesterday at Yarra Valley Gee Cee Calder won for the second time in just 12 days and improved her record to five wins and six places in 21 starts for stakes of $29,650.
Calder Image was not served this season after dropping a December foal, a colt by Classic Connection, and will be ready to be served early in the 2023 season.
Calder Image, a daughter of Victorian Trotters Oaks winner Maori’s Dream tr,2:02.8 $79,846, is a full-sister to the dam of Blitzthemcalder tr,3,1:56.6 $432,149.
A five-time Group One winners as a 2yo and 3yo Blitzthemcalder took out both the Australian 2yo Trotter of the Year and Australian 3yo Trotter of the Year titles.
There are 179 lots which will be sold at the on-line auction which will be run by Auctions Plus between Monday 5th June and Thursday 8th June.
