Darren McAullay

Darren brings with him 40 plus years experience in the racing industry, which includes 13 years as a senior harness race caller in Western Australia, which has allowed him the opportunity to broadcast 27 Perth Cups, 5 Inter-dominions, as well as be invited to broadcast and act as a master of ceremonies at a number of key fixtures in the Eastern states of Australia.

“I’ve built up such a long association as a bloodstock auctioneer with many of the vendors from Victoria and New South Wales who will be offering their stock at this first Nutrien Standardbred Yearling sale. So, I was obviously delighted to be invited by Mark Barton to head up the auctioneering team for Nutrien’s inaugural Standardbred sale.”

“But I think equally satisfying, is the opportunity to be able to continue to represent the many breeders who I’ve sold yearlings on behalf of in Melbourne for the past thirty years or more with the other bloodstock companies that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with.”

“The outcome that you want for the Standardbred breeding and harness racing industry is to see it prosper and for all the participants get real reward for their hard work and effort”.
