It’s Classic time of year again with only one week till the biggest performance horse sale of the year.
Gates will be open Australian Day morning, Thursday 26th January at 7am with the start of the 2023 Martins Stock Haulage Campdraft starting at 8am on Friday 27th January.
Record Entries again give a positive indication of the industry with 454 entries this year in the Martins Stock Haulage Open Campdraft will be judged by the experienced Dean Taylor from Scone.
Nutrien Equine’s Laura Lawrence said, “We have really strong entries in all of the campdrafts this year again. We are happy to see 346 in the Nutrien Classic Campdraft, it will be exciting to see these horses coming back to compete”.
The cooler weather set to continue will be welcome news for those coming from the north and make for some great competition days. Mark Barton said, “With the extreme weather events of 2022, it will be a great week of sales, drafting and challenge as well as the important catch up that the Classic has become. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone.”
For those with campdraft entries, please make sure you pay by the deadline on Monday 23rd January 2023 at 10am to avoid being scratched.
