Friday 11th August harness racing fans will turn their attention to Bendigo in Victoria for the running of the finals of both 2yo and 3yo Nutrien Sales Classics.
The Classics feature separate finals for both fillies and colts in both age categories.
That same night will see the running of Nutrien Trotting Classics for both age groups and sexes.
The 2yo Pacers finals will see $175,000 on offer for each sex division and the 3yo Pacers finals will each carry a $100,000 stake for each sex.
In a reflection of the increased importance to races for trotters, and the sponsorship of Haras des Trotteurs, the 3yo Trotting finals for each sex will carry a stake of $125,000 while the 2yo Trotting finals for each sex will each carry a stake of $62,500.
Heats for all finals were run earlier this week at Menangle on Tuesday and Bendigo on Wednesday of this week.
Acceptances for the eight finals will be taken at 8:30am next Tuesday with the fields, including barrier draws, released at 11:30am on Tuesday.
