At Bendigo on Wednesday a second heat of the 2yo Colts Nutrien Sales Classic for the pacers was run and it was won in impressive fashion by the Somebeachsomewhere colt Bay Of Biscay which remains unbeaten with wins at his only two starts.

The first foal from the smart mare Nike Franco p,1:48.0 $913,870, Bay Of Biscay was bred by Alabar Bloodstock and is trained by leading trainer Emma Stewart and was reined on Wednesday by James Herbertson.

He downed Bettors Delight colt The Bigboss and Red Shores rating 1:59.4 over the 2150 metres.

Fittingly, Alabar Bloodstock are sponsors of next week’s $175,000 Final and will no doubt be hoping for a win as they took a share in the colt when it became available.
