Lot 534 CLARKE FAMILY GRACE on account of Troy and Sally Clarke, sold to Evan & Kim Acton.

Lot 534 “Clarke Family Grace” sold for a Classic Sale Top Price of $54,000. “Grace” is an 2007 drop grey mare sired by Soda O’Riley from the dam Clarke Family Charm to great classic sale supporters Evan & Kim Acton of Julia Creek QLD.

Second top price was Lot 297 “My Miss Acre” offered for sale on behalf of Star Park Quarter Horses (Mr. Ken Cullen) of Wondai QLD. It is impressive to note that Ken also sold the top priced mare at the 2011 Landmark Paradise Performance Horse Sale. My Miss Acre is sired by Acres Destiny and from the Kings Phillip bred mare in Oaks Cotton Candy. Purchased by Koobah Performance Horses (Mr. Roger & Cheryl Grant) of Tamworth NSW, for $48,000.

Another high selling mare was Lot 286 “Classy Kate” sold on account of William & Tracey Tapp for $47,000 to Cristina Jones of Katherine NT.

Racing icon and repeat purchaser Gai Waterhouse purchased an 07 drop gelding, Lot 209 “Glendora Fletch” offered by the McKay Family Partnership from Singleton in the Hunter Valley NSW, for $6,000.00.
Fletch will be used in Gai’s training stables as a lead pony for some of Australia’s top thoroughbred race horses.

Lot 141 a stylish 8 year old chestnut mare named “Hanks Christa” who placed in the 08 NCHA Open Futurity and is also the winner of two handed cuttings achieved the high sell price of $45,000. Sired by Smart Little Diablo and from the Hank Man Leo bred mare in Yulgilbar Jose Lena and was offered for sale on behalf of Mr. Mark Rea of Timor NSW, this mare had all the attributes that the M & E Ingram of Alpha QLD where looking for in a top performance mare.

2012 Top Price Gelding

Lot 183 HOLLYWOOD ACRE DOC on account of Robert Johnston sold to Greg Bartlett.

Lot 183 “Hollywood Acre Doc” sired by the prolific campdraft producing sire Acres Destiny from a Docs Freckles Oak bred mare, this gelding was sold on account of Mr. Robert Johnston from Loomberah NSW sold to Greg Bartlett of Cooroibah QLD for
$18,500. Robert also bred the 2010 Landmark Classic Campdraft Winner “Whos Catwoman.”
Lot 189 “Lethal Lance” sold on account of Karl Burton from Jondaryan QLD. Was a bay gelding, sired by Lethal Lena from a Docs Spinifex bred mare that sold for $16,000 to Hinman Pastoral Co. of Coolah NSW.
Lot 263 “Chevin Theodore” a 2 year old gelding sired by Chevin Ivory also sold for $16,000 on account of Nigel & Carol Kable from Rydal NSW.
Lot 493 “Mr Catskills,” sold by S & L McNaughton. This was an 07 drop gelding sired by Catskills from a Docs Freckles Oak bred mare known as Oaks Peggy Sue. He was purchased by TB & JL Fay of Warra QLD.

EQUAL TOP PRICE Lot 317 CHEVIN TAIPAN on account of Nigel & Carol Kable sold to J&J Hartge.

Three 2008 drop stallions all sold for an equal top price of $18,000 those being –
Lot 314A “Bonlac Outback Jack” a bay 3 year old stallion sired by the legendary Hazelwood Conman from a Warrenbri Romeo bred mare, offered on behalf Andy & Robyn Paine from The Gums QLD to Mr. Ron Wall of Dalby QLD.
Lot 315 “Glen Lee Rivoli Comanche” a black 3 year old stallion sired by Barona Hornet from Glen Lee Rivoli Teepee, was purchases by Joe Pederick of Brunswick WA from vendors Glen Lee ASH Stud (David & Sue Wilson).
Also selling for equal top price for stallions was Lot 317 “Chevin Taipan” on account of Nigel & Carol Kable from Rydal NSW. Taipan is a 3 year old black stallion sired by the famous Chevin Ivory from the dam Fitzroy Selena, a Quidong Jap bred mare. Sold to J & J & W HARTGE of Quirindi NSW.
