Gut Feeling
The last race at Tamworth on Tuesday night went the way of the 3yo Betting Line gelding Kimchi which lived up to some punter’s gut feelings when he downed the favourite American Mandy and Sals Last Blast.
Kimchi becomes the first winner produced by his unraced dam Themajors Daughter and provides a boost for Lot 62 in the 2023 Bathurst Yearling Sale.
Lot 62 at Bathurst is a colt by champion race-horse McWicked p,1:46.4 $5,103,271 and is part of that stallion’s first crop of foals which are being sold this year.
Themajors Daughter, as the name implies, is by Art Major and she is a half-sister to Swinging Scooter p,1:53.4 $459,782, Mister Swinger p,3,1:57.3 $445,107, Another Swinger p,1:55.1 $131,597 and Village Swinger p,3,1:58.2 $104,774.
