On Wednesday night at Bathurst trainer/driver Bernie Hewitt produced the unraced 3yo Novanta Rising and the Betting Line gelding coasted home a comfortable winner rating 1:57.5 for the 1730 metres.
Novanta Rising started very short in betting markets at $1.22 on the back of five straight wins in trials at Bathurst since the start of 2024.
