Day two of the 2016 Landmark Classic Sale saw $70,000 achieved twice for lot 405 Sophie Duck (Sophisticated Catt x Oaks Special Duckling) account of Mr J Brekelmans selling to Wally Rea, Marlborough Qld and lot 415 Hugh Miles entry Dual Again (Teles Again x Dual N Boonsmal) selling to Elliott Cattle Company, Corfield, Peter and Toni O’Neil’s entry Touchwood Commence (Kahmoo Kenjara x Hazelwood Comment) bought $68,000 and was secured by Woodridge Pastoral, Currububula. Setting a record for the two year old’s was Bruce & Julie McNaughton’s Acres Lullaby (Acres Destiny x Tassas Sweet Song) selling to Ted & Sheir Fogarty, Alice Springs.

Sale grossed $7.13million.

Clearance 522/589 88% sold.

First place was Cal Gibson riding YULGILBAR DANCE ELEGANCE, Final score was 92, Total Agg 267. Close equal second was Adam Wheeler riding WESTONS SIZZLING, Final score 91, Total Agg was 266 and Pete Comiskey riding BINNIA ORACLE on 87, Total Agg 266

Third place was Mac Shann riding CANTAUR PARK MOORAE on 88, Total Agg 265.

 

2016 Prydes EasiFeeds Australian Performance Horse Challange Champion

Jon Templeton riding ROYALLE SIGNATURE.

First place was Jon Templeton riding ROYALLE SIGNATURE with Luke Bennett on MINTONA TIC TAC in second place. Third was very close but won by Laura McIntosh riding CUBAN CIGARS, narrowly placing ahead of Felicity Burton riding OAKS STYLISH WINDSTORM.

Fifth place was Matthew Durkin riding REALITY PEPTOS.

Madeline Moloney riding STRATTON TKO.

2016 Charlie Maher Memorial Young Guns winner Madie Maloney on the Mulcahys great mare TKO! All smiles as Mark Barton and Jimmy Matthews present the perpetual bronze and trophy rug.

Second place was Ben McNaughton riding THE RANCH TIPTOE with third place going to Johnny Tonegato riding MUSTBE SMOKEY.
