Lot 111 ONE STYLISH PEPTO on account of the One Stylish Pepto Syndicate, purchased by One Moore Syndicate.

One Stylish Pepto offered on behalf of the One Stylish Pepto Syndicate, Albury blitzed the previous record selling at $120,000 to One Moore Syndicate’s Peter Shakespear.

The nine year old roan stallion by Peptos Stylish Oak and out of one of the most influential dams in Australia, One Moore Spin (Doc’s Spinifex) had a stella cutting career earning over $70,000 in NCHA Championship Events before commencing a 2 month campdraft training program with Mark Buttsworth. This combination placed in 2 of the 3 campdraft events entered and included 2nd in the Chinchilla Grandfather Clock Novice Campdraft from a large field of 474 nominations.

Lot 304 AMAC OAKS SERENA on account of Bruce and Julie McNaugton.

The $71,000 top-priced mare was Amac Oaks Serena, an Acres Destiny mare out of world champion and ABCRA Horse of the Year, Oaks Serene. The McNaughton Family name heavily featured in the sale ring, Bruce and Julie offering the two sale topping mares. Lot 304, Amac Oaks Serena a 4 year old mare by Acres Destiny out of ABCRA Horse of the Year, Oaks Serene sold for $71,000 to the Kempsey Quarter Horse Syndicate. This mare offered impeccable breeding and performance being a full sister to Warwick Gold Cup winner, Tom Williamson’s Serene Acres.
Tim McCarthy, of Kempsey purchased the mare on behalf of the syndicate, and highlighted the mare’s main points of appeal being her impeccable breeding and training. Embryos from Amac Oaks Serena will be flushed prior to the mare commencing a campdrafting career.

Lot 43 CEE DEE DEJA VU on account of Fiona & Warwick Lawerence, purchased by Terry Ryan.

CEE DEE DEJA VU offered by Rosebrookes Warwick and Fiona Lawerence is a lovely soft gelding that was ridden by their 10 yr old daughter Laura at the ASH Nationala and Sydney Royal in 2010. Placed 4th in the National Futurity in 2010 and 2nd in the Maturity 4yr working in 2011 as well as 2021 ASHS National Reserve Champion Working Gelding and place 2nd in workding gelding at the 2021 Sydney Royal.

Our own Terry Ryan from Chincilla has purchased this gelding and will be sure to have a lot of fun with him.

Ben McNaughton on THE RANCH JANNALI

Equal 2nd/3rd/4th Troy Palmer on Hannaford Stud Savannah, Ben Hall on Phoenix Rockstar and Troy Palmer on Otfordvalley Annie.

Competitors vied for a prize pool in excess of $200,000 in the Landmark Classic Campdraft – an event for horses five-years-old and under bought in a previous Landmark Classic sale.

Walcha rider Ben McNaughton claimed the $35,000 winners’ cheque on Knights Top That gelding, The Ranch Jannali, which he bought at the Classic two years ago.

Second place was Danny Fitzgerald riding ROYALLE COMEDIENNE on 337 points. Placing 3rd was Matt Oakley riding UBUTLEY HALEY, fourth Mat Holz riding DARMA ACRES OF IMPACT.

5th place David Wilson riding GLEN LEE MOSSES MECURY, 6th place Emma Kalish riding CONDOR GLAMOUR GIRL.
